The compounds also reactivate intracellular enzymes such as casein kinase, which help cells recycle and eliminate unwanted substances. As a result, harmful lipids—including triglycerides and ceramides associated with insulin resistance and liver inflammation—were significantly reduced. Although both compounds showed benefits, CBG demonstrated stronger improvements in several metabolic markers, including reduced body fat, better insulin sensitivity, and lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol.

While these findings require further clinical research before medical use, plant-derived compounds such as CBD and CBG may offer promising new approaches for managing fatty liver disease and related metabolic disorders.
